Techfit combined with Primeknit for a superior touch on the ball.
ACE 17.1 Primeknit is designed with a hybrid upper, made from Primeknit at the front and Techfit compression at the rest of the boot. Both woven materials, that combined with the design shapes perfectly to your feet - from the very first time you put the boots on. You get a tight and sock like fit, that offers great support even at top speed and when doing quick change of direction. It helps you get a perfect first touch and superior control on the ball - better than ever before. The upper has been coated with the adidas NSG coating. NSG stands for Non-Stop Grip, and is essentially a 3D texture applied to the upper, that allows for added grip and control of the ball in all weather conditions.
Primecut silhouette with unique lacing system
The Primecut silhouette offers a perfect individual fit, stability and comfort. The technology allows for a streamlined fit around your ankle, for a sock like fit unlike anything else. The laces has been integrated into the upper, except for the two top lacing points that is attached directly to the sole - by two special engineered loops. This allows for dynamic support and stability at lateral forces, when doing changes of direction.
On the new model of the Ace 17.1 Primeknit, adidas has fitted the Sprintframe outsole that was featured on the popular adidas F50, where the low profile kept you close to the pitch for optimal grip. What makes this outsole so popular is its lightness and the flexibility, that provides both support and stability. This is especially important when making quick turns and rapid changes in directions and speed.
